A native of Southern California, Monica moved to New York City over a decade ago and is now proud to call herself a New Yorker, although she does admit to grumbling about the weather here more than she probably should.  She left her career as a commercial litigation attorney and adjunct professor of law to focus on raising her 4 1/2 year-old daughter and infant son, and loves each and every minute that she gets to spend with her family.
