I've been so busy with our new baby boy that I haven't had much time to shop for my family's summer gear.  We're planning to take several road trips over the next few months, so it's high time I start the search for the perfect clothing, accessories and other "stuff" we'll need on our trips and for all the fun we'll be having right here in Manhattan this summer.  Fortunately, the folks at Marshalls and T.J. I already knew that T.J. Maxx and Marshalls carried a fabulous assortment of clothing for the entire family (I was lucky enough to pick up an adorable Calvin Klein party dress for my daughter Sadie at the event), as well as fun jewelry and accessories (again, lucky me scored a gorgeous DKNY watch and snazzy pair of Chloe sunglasses at the Summer Soiree), but I had no idea that the stores also carry a full assortment of home entertaining essentials and children's toys.  During the Summer Soiree event, I spotted serving trays, outdoor lighting and furniture options, durable glasses and dishes, as well as a host of other summer entertaining options.  I was also pleased to see lots of fun outdoor summer toys for kids, including a mini golf set, pool toys and more.  And when I finally get that beach house of my dreams, I'll be able to adorn it with the gorgeous summer home decor on offer at Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, including beach-themed signs, nautical-stripe puffs and woven-wrapped hurricane candle holders.
