On a hot summer night, once I've finally put my kids down to sleep (no easy feat, to say the least), there are few things more refreshing than a nice cold cocktail.  I mean, what better way to relax and transport myself to a vacation mindset, if only for a moment, than to savor a fruity frozen drink?  Granted, I may not have a tiny paper umbrella or a beach to accompany said drink, but I can close my eyes and dream of being in paradise, at least until it's time to change the next diaper.  Of course, being a lazy busy mom, I don't exactly have the ingredients on hand to make all sorts of fancy cocktails (I leave that to my friend Kathleen), so I was pleased as punch to learn about Arbor Mist's new frozen wine cocktails. 

Known for its crisp and refreshing wines with natural fruit flavors, Arbor Mist recently introduced three easy to enjoy frozen wine cocktails in single-serve 10-ounce pouches - Blackberry Merlot, White Pear Pinot Grigo and Strawberry White Zinfandel.  I had a chance to sample all 3 varieties (I know, it's a rough job, but someone has to conduct the research on your behalf!) at a poolside cocktail party held at the super chic Hotel Americano, and I was instantly hooked.  Arbor Mist frozen wine cocktails require no mixing of ingredients, ice or blenders, and they contain the same alcohol level as Arbor Mist Wines.  Just pop one of these pouches into the freezer earlier in the day (I like to time it around preschool pickup just to remind myself that I've got my own pick-me-up coming later!), and five hours later all you have to do is squeeze the frozen wine cocktail into a glass and relax.
