This week brought with it the first taste of fall, and in my opinion it couldn't come soon enough.  I'm beyond excited to set aside my flip flops and shorts and pull out my favorite jeans, sweaters and boots, and of course I'm also looking forward to putting together fun fall wardrobes for my 4 1/2 year-old daughter Sadie and 5-month-old son Ben.  And when it's time to stock up on clothing essentials, we always make a beeline for The Children's Place, which never fails to impress with its comprehensive offering of stylish, on-trend clothes at prices that can't be beat. 

Not surprisingly, Sadie's developed her own fondness for The Children's Place, and she loves accompanying me on our seasonal shopping trips to what's become one of her favorite stores.  This past weekend, we visited The Children's Place on East 86th Street and made quick work of culling some fabulous fall looks for Sadie and her baby brother.  She may be a tutu-wearing, card-carrying member of the Princess set, but Sadie also appreciates a good skinny jean and sneaker, so she loved the butterfly-bedazzled denim and sparkly kicks on offer at The Children's Place.  Always one to find that perfect touch of flair, Sadie also was enamored of a leopard fedora that looked ridiculously adorable on her.  Ever the doting sister, Sadie made sure to select some fall essentials for her baby brother.  We're headed to Florida in a couple of months to embark on a Disney Cruise, and I am beyond excited for Ben to wear his navy button down and embroidered skull pants to dinner on the ship.  He'll also be super dapper in his
