"Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure" is Here!
Experience your very own fairytales with Disney's Princesses in this action-adventure video game!
If you're a frequent reader of Macaroni Kid, then you likely know (perhaps all too well) that my 4 1/2 year-old daughter Sadie is obsessed with all things Disney Princess. Indeed, it's often difficult to find Sadie in her bed beneath the mountain of plush Disney Princess dolls with which she sleeps! So of course Sadie was thrilled when we received a copy of "Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure," a new action-adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii and PC/Mac. "Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure" allows kids to experience their very own fairytales filled with Disney's most beloved princesses, including Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle and Tiana, in one of the most enchanted adventures yet. Players complete quests and play mini-games while earning gems throughout the process that they can exchange for special items. Along the way, they'll get to explore iconic Disney Princess locales, including the Beast's castle, Rapunzel's tower and Cinderella's ball.
I think it goes without saying that "Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure" has become Sadie's new favorite video game. She loves playing as an apprentice to Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and getting to travel through each of the Princesses' worlds while using her magic wand to help undo a spell that has been cast over all of the kingdoms. And of course Sadie was thrilled to discover that some of her favorite Disney characters such as Lumiere, Pascal, Flounder and Gus, are there to help guide her through the missions and progress through the game. Although the game is rated age 7 and up, Sadie has been able to master many of the game's components on her own or with minimal assistance from me or my husband. So if you've got a Disney Princess fan at home, I highly recommend you check out "Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure," which is now available for Wii, Nintendo 3 DS, Windows PC and Mac. Happy gaming!
