Come see the first kitchen studio in Manhattan designed just for budding chefs, and make a special treat to take home!  Cupcake Kids owner Jessi Walter is passing on a family favorite - her dad's secret Oatmeal Pancake Recipe - and you'll get to make your own Pancake Mixes in a Jar to take home so the whole family can enjoy! The Children's Museum of the Arts' Wee-Arts program offers an intimate and stimulating environment for children ages 10 months to 3 1/2 years to explore and create art.  This popular program develops a young child's familiarity with art-making materials, including playdough, paints, glue and a variety of drawing tools.  Wee-Arts encourages the process of experimentation, exploration and creative thinking. Music and story time with singing and drumming concludes each session.

Saturday, September 4, 2010: Juno Baby Celebration at FAO Schwarz

FAO Schwarz celebrates the launch of the amazing Juno Baby and Juno Jr. products, which are all about original music and learning through music, with special events every Saturday in September.  Experience a live Juno puppet show, featuring the Juno Baby and Juno Jr. characters and original, orchestral music composed by Juno Company co-founder and Emmy award-winner Belinda Takahashi.  There will also be a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the Juno character.  My daughter is absolutely obsessed with all things Juno Baby, so you can be sure she won't be missing this one!
