Animal Tales Extravaganza at the Bronx Zoo
Saturday, May 12 through Sunday, May 13
Visit the Bronx Zoo on weekends from 4/21 through 6/30 for Animal Tales Extravaganza, featuring an array of activities for families and children. The zoo's Dancing Crane Pavilion will be transformed into an intimate story time corner, and kids can stage their own animal tale with a puppet they create at the crafts area. There's even a special production, Avenue Zoo, featuring a guest appearance by Kate Monster, the beloved puppet star of the Tony award-winning musical Avenue Q. The Zoo's main stage will feature a variety of entertainment throughout the Extravaganza, including appearances by Yo Gabba Gabba, Curious George, Dora the Explorer, Marvel's Avengers, Super Sprowtz, Barney and more.
