1. Met Story Time
Every Thursday the Met hosts story time in their library on the ground floor! The kids get to run around and have some play time before two wonderful teacher arrive and read them a story . Stay a little longer if your little ones don't need to nap and check out this great Q&A made just for kids. 9/15 at 10:30am.
2.Feast of San Gennaro
Cannoli and Gelato! Need I say more?? They also have bounce houses and rides the kids will love to spin in while you sit back and finish that Gelato they were begging for earlier win-win, I say. 9/15-9/25
3. Exhibition Opening Night with BBQ and Beer
So this one here is more of a date night activity that definitely stood out to me, parents need a fun activity to do also! Click here to register (it's required to attend). I'm still waiting to hear if kids are allowed, stay tuned! 9/16 at 6:00pm.
4. Randall's Island Children's Book Festival
A new outdoor literary tradition begins this Saturday at Randall's Island and it is sure to be a hit! We will definitely be there with our kids to enjoy the story time, donut decorating, games, races and so much more! Randall's island definitely knows how to throw a party for the kids! 9/17 from 12:00-3:30pm.
5. In-person Family Concert at the Jewish Museum
Ages 3 and up.
Hear the sparkling melodies and rich folk sounds of Elena Moon Park as she explores East Asian musical traditions in a mix of original songs from her notable album Unhurried Journey. During the show, delight in projected images of artist Kristiana Pärn, who also inspired Unhurried Journey. Also, have you seen their Bagel and Lox earrings in the gift shop?
