Where to go Trick-or-Treating On the Upper East Side

And what to do leading up to Halloween day!

Grab your trick or treating bags and head on out to these classic spots for the best Halloween experience with your family!

Wednesday, October 26th from 4:00pm-6:00pm

Halloween Crafts and Not-So-Spooky Stories at Harlem Meer

Come dressed in your Halloween costume and join us for Halloween crafts, not-so-spooky stories from our friends at the New York Public Library, and magical entertainment from Rogue the Magician. You can even take home a free pumpkin* to carve for our famous pumpkin flotilla, taking place the following day!

*1 pumpkin per person while supplies last

This event is FREE and open to all ages. Tickets are not required.

Thursday, October 27th from 4:00pm-7:00pm

Pumpkin Flotilla on the Harlem Meer

Drop off your carved pumpkin and find a spot along the edge of the Harlem Meer to watch as the jack-o-lanterns float by. It’s New York’s largest pumpkin flotilla—and it’s not to be missed!

This event is FREE and open to all ages. Tickets are not required.

Friday, October 28th 

Asphalt Screams! from 3:30pm to 6:30pm at Asphalt Green Upper East Side campus 

Wear your best costume and join us for a spooktacular family-friendly bash featuring active Halloween games and a haunted maze in Mazur Hall.  The first 500 kids to arrive will receive a treat! Plus, we’re partnering with The Play That Goes Wrong to give away a free four-pack of tickets to four families each to see the show.

Brookfield Place Halloween Bash

Brookfield Place is excited to welcome back the Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 29, 2022 between 12:00 – 3:00 PM!

Trick or treat at your favorite shops and stores throughout Brookfield Place: Adam Lippes, Allen Edmonds, Bottega Veneta, Cos Bar, Clean Market, Dry Bar, Gucci, Lululemon, Louis Vuitton, Madewell, Michael Kors, Norwegian Wool, Oliver Peoples, Omega, The News Stand, The Wonder, and Wolford.

October 30th from 12:00pm-3:00pm

Halloween Boo Bash at Randalls Island

Join RIPA for an afternoon of Halloween Fun! Come out to Randall’s Island Park for face painting and glitter tattoos, hula hooping, and lawn games. Pick up a fall treat and make your own Halloween-themed craft. We are excited to feature Deejay Khalil who will be creating Halloween mixes!

Halloween Day!! Monday, October 31st

92nd Street between Park and Madison Avenue 

Get ready for a party! Every year this block gets closed down for a Halloween Spooktacular block party with a DJ, costume contests with prizes and amazing decorations to make it extra spooky! 


94th Street between Park and Lexington and 95th Street between Park and Lexington 

Check out these townhomes! The doormen and the residents really go all out with the decorations and candy, just say "Trick-or-Treat" and fill your kids bags with candy and their hearts with memories! 


Haunted House 72nd between Madison and Park 

Check out this Haunted House that will not only give you candy, but a whole walk through experience!! It usually opens between 5:30-7:30 so get there early to beat the line! 


81st Street 

Close together places are the best, especially when decorated well! 

Tricks and Treats at Bryant Park!

Annual Halloween party with eerie magic tricks, face painting, arts & crafts, and spooky stories.

Free for kids of all ages!

3pm       Justin the Magician & Face Painting

4pm       Spooky Stories with Cali Co Cat & Pumpkin Decorating

5pm       Trick-or-Treating* at The Holiday Shops & Arts & Crafts with Kelsey Crafts

*Free Trick-or-Treat bag at Le Carrousel while supplies last

Trick of Treat with East Midtown

Check-in at one of our two welcome locations on 56th Street!

Sunrise at East 56th (139 East 56th Street at Lexington Avenue) where we’ll also have free pumpkin painting

or the plaza outside 919 3rd Avenue (at East 56th Street) where we’ll have a spooky photo booth

And then head out to collect candy at participating businesses throughout the neighborhood!
