An interactive map to track Cherry Blossoms in Central Park

When and Where to see them!

Central Park is one of the most iconic and beloved public spaces in the world. Every spring, new yorkers and tourists flock to the park to witness the stunning beauty of the cherry blossom trees in full bloom. These delicate pink and white flowers transform the landscape and create a magical atmosphere that can only be experienced in person.

NYC's Central Park has just released this interactive map that allows you to track when the trees are in pre-preak, peak and past bloom and where to find them in central park!

The beauty of the blossoms is a sight to behold, and it's something that people of all ages can appreciate. Whether you are a photography enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply someone who appreciates beauty, the cherry blossoms in Central Park are sure to leave you in awe. 

The blooms are currently in peak at the North Side of the Reservoir (number 1 on the map above). Here is the current status of the other locations: 

  • West side of the reservoir – Peak
  • East side of the reservoir – Pre-peak
  • Great Lawn – Pre-peak
  • Cherry Hill – Pre-peak
  • Pilgrim Hill – Pre-peak
  • Sheep Meadow – Pre-peak
