There is a new Whole Foods coming to the Upper East Side!

It will be located at 1175 Third Avenue, between East 68th and 69th Streets, in the former Food Emporium supermarket space. The new Whole Foods is expected to open in early 2024.

This will be the third Whole Foods location on the Upper East Side, joining the existing stores at 1551 Third Avenue and 226 East 57th Street. With this new location, Whole Foods will have 18 stores in Manhattan overall, including 14 in Manhattan and four in Brooklyn.

The new store is expected to be a 25,000-square-foot store, which is slightly smaller than the other two Whole Foods locations on the Upper East Side. However, it is still expected to be a large and well-stocked store with a wide variety of natural and organic groceries.

It is also expected to have a number of features that are unique to the Upper East Side location, such as a cafe with outdoor seating, a juice bar, and a prepared foods section with a variety of hot and cold dishes.

The opening of the new Whole Foods on the Upper East Side is a sign of the continued growth of the natural and organic grocery market in New York City. Whole Foods is the leading natural and organic grocery store chain in the United States, and its expansion in New York City is a testament to the growing demand for these types of products among New Yorkers.
