Description

Flying kites on Independence day is a cultural tradition in northern Indian states like Delhi (Shahjahanabad or Old Delhi), Lucknow, Bareilly, and Moradabad. There will be materials and to help you make your own paper kite.

Cricket, a sport of colonial British rule rose to a national sport in India after the country gained its independence. Try out cricket or learn its basics with Coach Ravello who runs cricket training in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. For more information visit: Vello Cricket @ www.vellocricket.net.

The entry fee applies to a single registrant who wants to make a kite or learn to play cricket. This is open to kids and adults of all ages. Parents will need to help their children make their kites.
