Flying kites on Independence day is a cultural tradition in northern Indian states like Delhi (Shahjahanabad or Old Delhi), Lucknow, Bareilly, and Moradabad. There will be materials and to help you make your own paper kite.
Cricket, a sport of colonial British rule rose to a national sport in India after the country gained its independence. The entry fee applies to a single registrant who wants to make a kite or learn to play cricket. This is open to kids and adults of all ages. Parents will need to help their children make their kites.
