Pack a lunch and some water and bring your kid to Beam Camp City for a day of learning, making, sharing, exploring, and fun!
Beam Camp City is offering a free camp experience on Governors Island. During your experience you will be engaged with like-minded creatives from all over the city, take a tour of our active fabrication shop, learn a creative craft-based take home project, and it will all wrap up with a fun time in the sun as we play sports, laugh, and have fun!
- Though we invite campers of all ages, Beam Camp City is ideal for folks ages 11 and up.
- All youngsters ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a chaperone.
- Youth ages 10 and under must have an adult chaperone present throughout the camp experience to provide additional 1 to 1 support as our project-based workshops are fun but ambitious!
